469 vaccinated, 2455 samples collected in Ramban

Enforcement teams recover Rs 21,800 fine from violators

Ramban : As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh, the Health Department on Saturday administered covid vaccine doses to 469 persons including 306 children in the 15-17 years age group in the district.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 21,800 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 96, 23, 650.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department has collected 2455 samples including 615 RT-PCR and 1840 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 469 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
