Drug De- Addiction campaign: SWD organises rally, debate competition at Thathri

Doda  : To generate mass awareness about the menace of drugs among the local masses especially among the Youth, Social Welfare department Doda under the supervision of DSWO, Zubair Ahmed Lone, Friday organised an awareness rally and debate competition under the aegis of Drug De Addiction campaign here at Sub division headquarter Thathri.
A huge rally of students of different institutions chanted slogans against drug abuse.
The speakers also put forward their understanding about drug abuse and its impact on society especially among the young generation.
SDM Thathri Er Athar Amin Zargar also addressed the participants and shared his vital inputs with the students about the drug menace and how it is affecting the society.
The SDM advised the locals and young people of the area not to fall into this trap and also sought their cooperation in eradicating drug abuse completely from their area as well as from the district.
Among others present in the program were President MC Thathri, Tehsildar Thathri, TSWO Thathri, besides other concerned officials and locals also participated.
