Rajouri  : District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Rajouri Friday approved 124 new cases for providing commercial vehicles to unemployed youth of the district under Mumkin Scheme.
The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal and attended by other members including CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DIO, Narinder Kumar; AD Employment, Rekha Rani; Employment Officer, Aslam Beig and Manager Lead Bank, Ashwini Sharma.
Mumkin scheme is an initiative of Mission Youth for providing sustainable livelihood to unemployed youth in the transport sector. Under the scheme commercial vehicles are provided to them on subsidised rates.
After threadbare discussion, the DLIC approved 124 fresh cases under the said scheme.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to generate mass awareness among the educated and unemployed youth of the district about the scheme and ensure their maximum coverage under the same.
He also asked them to make sincere efforts to remove hindrances faced by the youth in availing benefits under the Mission Youth by coordinating and guiding them wherever required and extending personal intervention for their proper hand-holding.
