BDOs directed to ensure completion of ongoing works by end of this month

DDC Doda reviews performance of RDD under Distt Capex

Doda  : District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma Friday chaired a meeting of key officials of RDD and other line departments here in the conference hall of the DC office to review the progress of RDD under District Capex, Area Development Plan and other allied sectors including the united sector.
During the meeting, the DDC sought details of the ongoing works, completion status physically, expenditure incurred, billing status, tendering status, allotments, status of works not tendered yet, besides also sought reasons regarding the works which are not executed on the ground till date.
While reviewing the progress achieved in the development of playfields, it was informed that at eight sites work is on and the same would be completed by the end of this month.
The DDC directed the BDOs to ensure the positive response in the retendered works for their timely execution and completion.
With regard to elementary and secondary level works of the education department under implementation by RDD, the meeting was told that 90% works are expected to be completed by March 15, 2022.
Referring to yet to be allotted works under Area Development Plan, the DDC directed the Ex En REW and ACD to submit the list of works block wise with status of tendering, allotment and execution.
Moreover, the DDC also directed the BDOs to ensure all the works under the untied sector are completed well in time. He further asked to ensure drawl and disbursement of pending expenditure under purchasing of items, etc.
The DDC directed all the concerned to act proactively and to mobilise their field functionaries so that all the works shall be completed on war footing basis both physically and financially.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, ACD Doda, CEO Doda, AD Planning DC office, Ex En REW, DYSSO Doda, All BDOs, besides technical staff were also present during the meeting.
