Training on Online Services of Agriculture Deptt held at Jammu Krishi Bhawan

Jammu : One Day Training on 14 online services provided by Department of Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare, Jammu was on Thursday held under the chairmanship of Director AP & FW, Jammu, K. K. Sharma here at the conference hall of KrishiBhawan, Jammu.
Addressing the participants, Director Agriculture Jammu outlined that the purpose of the said Training is capacity building of the officers in understanding and operation of Single window system of providing departmental services as part of Ease of Doing Business.
Director informed that initially 14 services covering major activities of the department including Seed, Fertilizers and Insecticides licensing have been launched for this purpose. These services will include registration of Seed/ Fertilizers/Insecticides Dealers at manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer level as well as renewal of license and conducting inspections. Besides this single window will also include grievances redressal facility.
Director said that this single window system has been integrated with the website (diragrijmu.nic.in) of the department and Login details have been shared with all stakeholders and further no manual application will be entertained henceforth. This will ensure ‘Ease of Doing Business’ within fixed time lines through minimum regulatory compliance burden.
The technical session was conducted by the experts from JKSICOP, Department of Industries and Commerce. The programme included comprehensive training right from registration to approval covering details like filling of application forms, payment of fees, checking of status, addition, renewal, and grievances.
Threadbare discussion was held regarding the whole process, check lists, flow charts, timelines etc where all queries of the participants were cleared by the experts.
Joint Director Agriculture (Extension), SubashChander Sharma, Plant Protection officer, DevinderShrama, Assistant Director Law enforcement, Tilak Raj Sharma and other officers / staff of agriculture department attended the training. Besides Chief Agriculture Officers, District Agriculture officers, SDAOs attended the training through virtual mode.
