Ganderbal, Pulwama : As a part of public outreach programme, Police facilitated series of Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings in Ganderbal and Pulwama.
According to statement issued by police on Thursday the meetings were held while following social distancing norms and other protocols. Police said that in Ganderbal, the meeting was held at Police Station Lar and was chaired by Dy SP Hqrs Ganderbal Ghulam Hassan. SHO PS Lar was also present on the occasion. The meeting was attended by Numberdars, Chowkidars and respectable citizens of Lar and its adjacent area.
Similarly in Pulwama, PCPG meetings were held at Police Station Kakapora& Police Station Rajpora by concerned SHOs. The meetings were attended by Numberdars, Chowkidars and respectable citizens of their respective areas. During these meetings, participants raised various issues including drug addiction, thefts, dowry, black marketing, roaming of gangsters and other several issues.
The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority while the other issues will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The participants were requested to follow CAB and requested to educate others also.
The participants appreciated the police for conducting such interaction meetings and assured their full support & cooperation in curbing the menace of social crimes and in maintaining law & order.
