Gang of vehicle lifters busted in Budgam, 2 more stolen vehicles recovered: Police

Budgam : Police on Thursday said that it has recovered two more vehicles in connection with case FIR number 28/2022 pertaining to busting of an Inter-District Gang of vehicle lifters in budgam.
In a statement issued on Thursday police said that previously five accused persons were arrested & 15 stolen vehicles were recovered in the instant case, stating therein further that during the course of the investigation of the said case, two more stolen vehicles with fabricated registration numbers were recovered from the Padshahi Bagh area of Srinagar city and Narkara area of Budgam, taking the toll of recovered stolen vehicles to 17.
Stating that the vehicles include white colour Scorpio S11 with fake registration number JK21F 8841 while as its original registration number is DL2CAZ-6685 and silver colour Alto-800 with registration number JK02AD-8264, police in it’s statement said that the investigation of the case is still going on and more arrests and recoveries are expected.
