DDC Kupwara reviews progress of works under Convergence Action Plan

Kupwara : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Imam Din Thursday convened a meeting of concerned officers to discuss the Convergence Action Plan of Border Roads Organization (BRO) works with MGNREGA 2022-23.
The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding proper implementation of the Convergence Action Plan to ensure better development of the border areas of the district.
The meeting also discussed various other modalities for planning and development of the far flung border areas.
It was given out in the meeting that the community benefit works shall be taken in hand to ensure that the people of these areas are benefitted.
The DDC directed the officers of BRO to come up with a full-fledged plan including all parameters duly vetted by the concerned BDC Chairperson for proper implementation of the Convergence plan. He directed the officers to ensure greater coordination for successful implementation of the convergence plan on ground.
ADC Kupwara, GhulamNabi Bhat; JD Planning, Abdul Majeed, ACD, AD Planning, besides, senior officers from BRO and Police attended the meeting.
