DC Ramban inspects landslide hit Karol-Kumait road,

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam along with Executive Engineer PWD, Vinod Gupta visited landslide hit Karol-Kumait road for on the spot inspection, here Thursday.
Tehsildar, Ramban, Rafiq Ahmed, officers of NHAI, PRIs and local people of the area were present on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner passed on-spot directions to officers of National Highway Authority of India, PIU Ramban to immediately start the restoration work on the damaged portion near Government Degree College, Ramban and other vulnerable spots of the road.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the officers of NHAI to reconstruct a path connecting GDC, Ramban with NH-44 at Karol with the provision of railing for the convenience of students and locals.
The DC directed the Executive Engineer PWD to coordinate with NHAI to ensure speedy restoration of the road in a time-bound manner.
