DC Poonch inspects Dev works in Tehsil Mandi

Poonch : District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet Thursday Conducted an extensive tour of Tehsil Mandi, where he inspected various ongoing developmental works.
He was accompanied by the CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, Tehsildar Mandi, Shazad Latief Khan, Principal Govt. Degree College, Mandi, AEE ,PWD(R&B), Je Irrigation and flood control and other concerned officers.
Enrouting to Tehsil Mandi ,the DC inspected the ongoing construction work of University Campus Dingla followed by Sathra Polytechnic College, 600M PWD (R&B) road from Budha Amarnath Temple to Rajpura Middle School, tourist infrastructure and also identify land for the construction of Govt; Degree College mandi.
He also inspected the development of the playground in Mandi and directed the concerned to complete the work on a fast track basis.
Regarding the construction of Polytechnic College, the Deputy Commissioner directed the executive engineer of PWD(R&B) to speed up the pace of work for its timely completion.
The DDC directed the concerned executing agencies to complete the works at an earliest and warned that no laxity would be tolerated.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the Tehsildar Mandi and Principal Govt. Degree college Mandi to facilitate and provide all logistic support to JKPCC for formulating project plan for early start of Degree College building.
Meanwhile, the DC directed the Tourism CEO to upgrade the tourist infrastructure at tourist destinations of Mandi.
