CAPEX Budget: Progress of Irrigation, Forest department works reviewed at Doda

Doda : Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma on Thursday asked for achieving 100% physical and financial targets on the works being executed by Flood and Irrigation and Forest departments under the Capex Budget.
Chairing a review meeting, the DC was informed that a total 9 works taken up by Irrigation and Flood Control division Doda have been completed, while 3 works being executed by I&FC Division Bhaderwah were delayed due to heavy snow in the area.
The Ex En I&FC Bhaderwah stated that work has been resumed on all three projects and would be completed by March 15, 2022.
The progress of Forest Department works under ADP was also reviewed by the DDC and directions were issued to resolve bottlenecks, if any.
Taking a strong note on 0% expenditure in the areas of Doda district falling in Forest Division Ramban, the DDC asked the DFO to improve the performance and come up with an updated position next week.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, CPO Doda, DFO Bhaderwah, DIO Doda, Ex En I & FC Div. Doda, Ex En I & FC DivBhaderwah, and representative of DFO Ramban.
