Srinagar : In the ongoing Annual Football Championship 2021-22 two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar. The first match was played between DFA Zone Hajin & DFA Pulwama. DFA Zone Hajin defeated DFA Pulwama by three goals to one. Wahid, Wajahat & Rahil Gowher scored for the winners. Fardeen scored the only goal from Pulwama. DFA Hajin qualified for the final phase of the Championship.
The second match was played between DFA Bandipora & DFA Baramulla. An exciting match attracted the attention of the audience as both the teams tried to dominate from the very beginning to find the net. However the full time ended in a 1:1 draw. The tie breaker rule was applied & DFA Baramulla emerged Winners by defeating DFA Bandipora by Five Goals to Four . With this win DFA Baramulla also qualified for the final Phase of the championship.
The Tournament is organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
