Jammu: Cultural Wing of Department of Information & Public Relations Wednesday organised a symposium on the topic Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bazar Qasaban, Jammu.
As many as 13 students participated in the competition. The first position was bagged by Sakshi while second and third positions were secured by Deepa Nath and Laxmi Nath, respectively.
The principal of the school and the chief guest, Satinder Kour lauded the efforts of DIPR for providing students the platform to express their views. She urged the department to organize more such events in the future also. She congratulated the winners and participants for taking part in the programme.
The symposium was judged by Vandana Sharma, Nilofar and Simple while proceedings were done by Monika Angral and Anupama.
Students of the school also presented Gojri, Pahari, Kashmir and Ladakhi songs on the occasion.
Among others, Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand, staff members and students were present on the occasion.
