Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4748

Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Tuesday said that 55 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 29 from Jammu division and 26 from Kashmir division, have been reported Tuesday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453052, stating therein further that no new covid death was reported till Tuesday evening and as such the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4748.
The Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover, 123 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 75from Jammu Division and48 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Tuesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 4882doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,15,14,865.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453052 positive cases, 614are Active Positive (375in Jammu Division and 239in Kashmir Division), 447690 have recovered and 4748 have died; 2325 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 23318728 test results available, 453052 samples have tested positive and 22865676 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 44,160 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6135778 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 32721persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 614 in isolation and 450239 in home surveillance. Besides, 5647456 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Tuesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 17 cases, Baramulla reported 03cases, Kupwara reported 04 cases, Budgam reported no cases, Pulwama reported no cases, Anantnag reported no cases, Bandipora reported 02cases while as Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Tuesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 23 cases, Udhampur reported 01 case, Doda reported no cases, Rajouri reported no cases, Kathua reported 02 cases, Samba reported 01case, Kishtwar reported no cases, Poonch reported 01case, Reasi reported 01 case while as Ramban reported no fresh cases for Tuesday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 25(0.51%) are occupied. The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
