Police accords warm send-off to retiring officers on superannuation

Srinagar : Police on Monday said that the farewell functions were organized by Police in PCR Kashmir, Ganderbal & Budgam to accord warm send-off to the officers who have superannuated from their active services.

In a statement issued on Monday police said that the superannuated officers include SI Abdul Salam & HC Abdul Majeed of PCR Kashmir, ASIs Bashir Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf, and Abdul Gani & Abdul Gaffar of Ganderbal Police and SI Abdul Rahim Wani & ASI Abdul Rashid Wani of Budgam Police. All the retiree officers were accorded warm send off and were given mementos as a token of love and appreciation for their exceptional services spanning over more than three-four decades.
In PCR Kashmir, an impressive function was facilitated where SSP PCR Zubair Ahmad Khan and other senior officers/officials participated in the function. SSP PCR Kmr while acknowledging the contribution of the outgoing officers conveyed his best wishes to the retiring officers and prayed for their good health and successful post-retirement life. Later on, SSP PCR Kashmir and other officers/officials shared lunch with the superannuated officers.
In Ganderbal, a similar function was organized at District Police Lines Ganderbal. SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar and other officers and officials were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal appreciated the work and dedication of the officers towards their duties. He wished the officers good health and happiness post retirement.
Similarly in Budgam, impressive function was organized at District Police Lines Budgam. SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem and other officers & officials were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Budgam complemented the retirees for maintaining unblemished record and wished them a healthy and meaningful post retirement life.
The superannuating officers while thanking the department for such an impressive send-off also addressed the functions and shared their years-long experience in the department.
