In the current COVID-19 pandemic scenario, Ministry of Aayush, Govt. of India has also recommended regular consumption of concoctions of various herbs as immunity booster. With the increasing demand of herbals for ethno-pharmaceutical purposes, it becomes imperative to create trained manpower versed in identifying economically important plant species for various purposes.
