Jammu : IQAC Cell and Bio- Sciences Club of Government College Of Education, Jammu organised a One Day Seminar on ‘Sustainable Development and Intellectual Property Rights’ to commemorate National Science Day.
Dr.Namrata Sharma, Professor Department of Botany, University of Jammu, was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Rahul Sharma, HOD, Biotechnology from GCW Gandhi Nagar was the Resource Person.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.KulvinderKour, Principal of the College congratulated the Bio- Sciences department for organising seminar on the much needed relevance of IPR. Convener, Bio- Sciences, Dr.JyotiParihar, focused on the theme of this year’s Science Day and how IPR can help in realisation of goals of sustainability by collaborative venture.
The students of Bio- Sciences club also gave presentations on various aspects of IPR. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr.Rajinder Kaur.
