Jammu : Cultural Wing of Department of Information & Public Relations Monday organised a symposium on the topic Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav here at Government Higher Secondary School Jullaka Mohalla.
As many as 10 students participated in the competition. The first position was bagged by Abdul Basit while second and third positions were secured by Diksha and Arun Singh, respectively.
The principal of the school and the chief guest, RaziaChoudhary lauded efforts of the department for providing students the platform for expressing their views. She urged the department to organize more such events in the future also. She congratulated the winners and participants for taking part in the programme.
The symposium was judged by Narinder Kumar, Shankutla Devi and AnjuKotwal while proceedings were done by Bader-un-nisa.
Among other Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand, Senior Cultural Assistant, Mohinder Kumar, Vice Principal, ArchanaBakshi, staff members and students were present on the occasion.
