Reasi admin finalises arrangements for Pulse polio immunization program

Reasi : The meeting of District Task Force (DTF) finalized the arrangements for Pulse polio immunization program scheduled on Feb 27.
The meeting was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner, JyotiSalathia, and attended by Additional Superintendent of Police, Surjit Kumar, Chief Education Officer, Mohammad Aziz, Program Officer ICDS, RenuKumari, and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Rajeev K Sharma.
The other members in attendance were ARTO, District Information Officer, Deputy CMO, Medical Superintendent DH, E.O Municipal Council, Block Medical Officers Reasi and Katra, Religious leaders of various Communities, representatives of NGOs and other officials of the Health Department.
The CMO Dr Rajeev Sharma and DIO Reasi Dr UshaKiran gave detailed presentation on NID (National Immunization Day) 2022.
It was informed that a total 50624 children under the age of 5 years will be covered in the district for which 387 stationery booths have been established, while 20 Transit teams, 12 Mobile Teams along with 91 supervisors & 9 District Monitors will be deployed in the district.
The Chair stressed upon all the stakeholders to concentrate in High-Risk areas so that no child is left out.
A District Cell Comprising Officials of Health Department, Suresh Kumar, Extension Educator (Cont. No. 7889308154); Anshul Sharma, JHI (Cont No. 9906060337); RomeshChander Health Educator (Storekeeper) (Cont. No. 9906398264); Rakesh Kumar, Driver along with Vaccine Van (JK20-9226) with Cont. No. 9797427841} and NitishBazal, Field Worker, Mob. No. 9149631066 was constituted to attend any contingency if arising during the Programme.
