DDC Ang reviews arrangements for SANJY-2022

Anantnag : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Dr.PiyushSingla Saturday chaired a meeting of District Officers to review preparedness plans for smooth and successful conduct of AmarnathYatra (SANJY)-2022. The meeting was informed by the CEO Anantnag that PDA has prepared plans for additional infrastructural facilities.
The DDC directed concerned officers to accelerate the pace of ongoing works which are included in the current plan for SANJY. He stressed upon the heads of the concerned departments to put every effort to facilitate the pilgrims besides men and machinery as needed must be ready for service.
Face-lifting of transit camps at walnut factory, additional accommodation at Vessu, brick walling of Nunwan base camp, installation of prefabricated huts, moveable toilets, installation of multipurpose pandals for recitation etc, General Hut at Nunwan base camp, Health facilities, emergency services, SDRF services etcwere also discussed thoroughly.
The DDC was informed by the Executive Engineer KPDCL that solar lights will be installed at various major stations like Chandanwari, Holy Cave etc in addition to normal electric supply besides PWD, Jal Shakti plans of inclusion were discussed and officers were directed to start the execution soon.
The meeting was attended by ADC, SE Jal Shakti, SE KPDCL, SE R&B, CMO, CEO PDA, CAHO, ARTO, ACL, SDM Bijbehara, Executive Engineers of R&B Qazigund, Khanabal, AD FCS&CA, AEEs of Jal Shakti, R&B, Eos of MC Pahalgam, Qazigund and various other officials of the concerned departments.
