Ganderbal : The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal in collaboration with District Level Centre for Women “Mahila Shakti Kendra” Ganderbal Saturday organized an awareness programme on various women centric schemes at Village Legal Care & Support Centre Kondbal (Govt. High School KondabalSafapora, Ganderbal).
The programme was attended by Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi helpers, local women, adolescent girls, PLVs, project coordinator women helpline, MSK team.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabeeta Jan Women Welfare Officer imparted awareness regarding Mahila Shakti Kendra and its objectives and some other women centric schemes of various departments.
Also project coordinator women helpline Bilal Ahmad Bhat spoke on the women helpline 181 and its benefits.
Advocate ShaguftaKounsar, Panel Lawyer, District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal also gave brief awareness on legal rights of women especially on domestic violence and J&K Victim compensation scheme.
