Winners of National Kala Utsav festival 2021 felicitated at Kathua

Kathua  : A felicitation function for the winners of the National Kala Utsav Festival 2021 was Saturday held here at the premises of Government High School, ParliwandKathua.
P.L. Thapa, Chief Education Officer, Kathua was the Chief Guest.
The function was organized to acknowledge the winners of the district who represented Jammu and Kashmir at the national level in the Kala Utsav Festival, 2022, and won top prizes.
The occasion was also celebrated to appreciate the supporting mentors, members of the DRC, ZICCs from the different zones, and others who contributed towards bringing home the laurels for the entire Union Territory and district Kathua.
The program started with the SaraswatiVandana after which cultural items were presented by students.
It was followed by the prize distribution in which the winners and their mentors were presented certificates by the Chief Education Officer.
In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated the winners and thanked their mentors and other contributing members.
Earlier, PawanVivek, Incharge of District Resource Group, and Monika Khosla, Incharge of District Cultural Cell welcomed the guests and gave a short resume on the event and the winners.
The event was anchored by SunitaKumari, ZICC Hiranagar, and Anita Pangotra.
