Srinagar :A 55-year-old man was on Friday killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The incident took place in the Pattan area of the district after an unidentified vehicle ran over him and drove away, an official said . “The driver of the vehicle fled from the scene after the incident,” he said.
According to officials, the deceased has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Lone (55) son of Mohammad Ramzan Lone of Pattan.
A case under relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act has been registered in this regard and further probe is underway, the official said
