DC Reasi reviews working, performance of deptts on dev front

Reasi : Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakwal chaired a meeting to review the performance of departments with regard to delivery of public services and execution of developmental works here at a meeting.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Jyoti Salathia; ADC Abdul Star; CPO Sunita Kanchan; POICDs Renu Kumari; ACR Sanjay Badyal; ACD Anirudh Rai; CMO Rajeev Kumar Sharma; ARTO Rajesh Gupta; DTO Liakat Khan; Chief Education Officer Mohammad Aziz, besides others were also present.
Babila Rakwal directed the departments to focus on measures which could have an impact on the public particularly related to water, Electricity, Road connectivity etc.
The concerned officers presented status of various developmental works undertaken under Health, Education, Rural development, PDD and other sectors.
While taking a sector wise review of the major developmental works, the DC emphasized on adopting a coordinated approach for achieving the desired results. She asked the departments to ramp up the pace of progress to complete the ongoing projects within the stipulated time period. She asked them to give preference to the public works of urgent nature to benefit the people.
She stressed upon the concerned officers to identify the bottlenecks, if any and bring them into her notice so that same are sorted out at the earliest.
