Weekly Block Divas: Public Grievances redress cum awareness camps held across Distt Doda

Doda: Weekly Block Divas program was held on Wednesday across the district to make the governance accessible and time bound redress of the public issues, including making public aware of the public welfare and other schemes.
The whole program was held under the supervision of District Development Commissioner DodaVikas Sharma.
At Bhaderwah, the program was held at the block office where Block Development Council Chairman, Omi Chand participated and presided over the event and listened to the participants.
The government officers provided various services and listened to the grievances and demands of people. Many issues were resolved on the spot by officers of respective departments. At Bhaderwah the event was attended by ZEO, TSWO, TSO Bhaderwah, TSO Bhalra/Chinta, AEO Bhalra and officers of various other departments viz Floriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, RDD and Revenue.
The Block diwas was also held across the district at designated places. During the day long proceedings of Block Diwas as many as 32 grievances/applications were received, all of them were redressed by the officers/officials of respective departments on the spot, besides several services which includes 09 category certificates, and 44 Domicile certificates were provided to the people on spot during the day long program held across the district at already designated locations which includes Sub division Gandoh, Subdivision Assar, Subdivision Thathri and at all BDO offices.
