DDC Rajouri reviews progress on multi storey car parking project

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Tuesday convened a meeting of the concerned officers and design contractors to review the progress on the multi storey car parking project of Rajouri Municipal Council.
The meeting was attended byADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO Mohammad Khurshid; SE PWD, Nissar Hussain; Executive Engineer PWD Rajouri, Maqbool Hussain; EO MC Rajouri, MohdYaqoob and design contractors.
At the outset, the District Development Commissioner reviewed the designing structure of the multi storey car parking building which is going to be constructed at the old bus stand- the heart of the city.
The building is a G+8 structure with a parking capacity for 180 cars. The DDC expressed satisfaction over the design of the building and asked to vet the design from any reputed institution like IIT.
The DDC also was apprised that the geological survey of the site of construction has been completed and the land is fit for construction.
