DDC Chairman Anantnag holds briefing regarding Ayushman Bharat

Anantnag : The District Development Council (DDC) Chairman, MY Gorsi Tuesday held a briefing regarding Ayushman Bharat PM SEHAT at Dak Bungalow Khanabal here.
The District Anantnag has started a vigorous campaign for boosting registration of people under Ayushman Bharat.
Addressing the meeting, the DDC Chairman said that the golden card provides an annual health insurance cover of Rs 5 lac per family. He said the scheme is a novel initiative to cover the entire population of the UT and it is the responsibility of PRIs to disseminate information regarding the schene among the public.
He impressed upon other DDC and BDC members to mobilize the PRIs at Halqa levels to maximize coverage under the scheme.
ADDC Anantnag discussed various innovative ways for motivating people. He assured the PRIs of all possible assistance in this endeavour.
The meeting was attended by DDC members, CMO, ACP among others.
