DC Ramban releases “Village Amenity Directory- 2020-21”

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Tuesday released Village Amenity Directory (VAD) for the year 2020-21 here at a simple but impressive function. The Village Amenity Directory has been compiled (published) by the District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Ramban.
CPO, Dr.KasturiLal; DSEO, Ganesh Kumar; Tehsildar, Rafiq Ahmed; AD, Planning, Ashfaq-ur-Rehman and several other officers were present.
On the occasion, the DC said that the fundamental objective of this publication is to bring out the yearly database for measuring the developmental performance under different sectors and general economic profile of the area falling in the district.
The DC also appreciated the efforts of DSEO and his team for efficiently compiling the data and publication of a comprehensive VAD-2020-21.
The DSEO informed that the Village Amenity Directory 2020-21, being 14th in series, has been published as per the standard format prescribed by the Director General Economics and statistics, so as to maintain uniformity of the data at the district level.
“Through the Village Amenity Directory (VAD) 2020-21 efforts have been made to give a detailed presentation of different developmental sectors that is useful to Government functionaries in policy making and planning Socio-Economic Development of District Ramban” , he added.
