Rajouri:JK Grameen Bank hands over PMJJBY claim of Rs 2.00 Lakh to nominee of insurer

Rajouri : Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank Monday handed over Pradhan MantriJeevanJyotiBimaYojana (PMJJBY) claim of Rs 2.00 lakh to Arshad Begum Wife of Talib Hussain, resident of Chingus area the nominee of the insurer, late Zaffar Iqbal.
The PMJJBY claim was handed over to the beneficiary by Regional Manager JK Grameen Bank, Rajouri-Poonch, MohammadNissar Malik.
Assistant Manager J&K Grameen Bank RO, Haspreet Singh and Branch Head BO Chingus, BishanDutt were also present on the occasion.
Pradhan MantriJeevanJyotiBimaYojana is a government-backed Life insurance scheme in India which is available to people in the age group of 18 to 50 years (life cover up to age 55) having a savings bank account who give their consent to join and enable auto-debit.
The NaibSarpanch, Ashok Kumar Sharma and public of the area have also appreciated the efforts of the bank in promoting social security schemes of GOI.
The Bank officials have also appealed to the public to get themselves enrolled under the scheme to avail necessary benefits under the scheme.
