Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4747

Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Monday said that 104 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 85 from Jammu division and 19 from Kashmir division, have been reported Monday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 452410, stating therein further that one covid death reported on Monday from Kashmir Division mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4747.
Government in it’s bulletin also said that moreover, 360 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 173 from Jammu Division and 187 from Kashmir Division. one COVID death has been reported from the Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Monday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 19,691 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,13,74,402.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 452410 positive cases, 1692 are Active Positive (942 in Jammu Division and 750 in Kashmir Division), 445971 have recovered and 4747 have died; 2324 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22875567 test results available, 452410 samples have tested positive and 22423157 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 54641 COVID tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.
Till date 6059235 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 34535 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1692 in isolation and 446886 in home surveillance. Besides, 5571375 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Monday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 12 cases, Baramulla reported 04 cases, Budgam Pulwama, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian reported no new fresh cases. While Kupwara and Anantnag reported one and two cases respectively. Similarly, Jammu reported 13 cases, Reasi reported no fresh cases while as Udhampur reported 12 cases, Rajouri reported 02 cases, Doda reported 29 cases, Kathua reported 03 cases, Samba reported one case, Poonch reported no cases, Kishtwar reported 24 cases while as Ramban reported one new fresh case.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 59 (1.22%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach the national helpline by dialling 1075.
