Kathua : Department of Political science and Education in collaboration with IQAC on Saturday organized a Webinar on Role of Education to mark World Day of Social Justice here under the patronage of College Principal Prof. Suresh Kumar Sharma.
Dr. Pooja Charak, Assistant Prof. Government PSPS PG College for Women Gandhinagar was the Resource Person. She talked in detail about social justice in respect to the provisions of the constitution such as fundamental rights, duties and how the government of India has initiated and implemented various schemes to promote social justice.
Dr. Davinder Kour (HOD Education, GLDM College Hiranagar) and coordinator IQAC Prof Sujat Khan also highlighted the importance of social Justice in a democracy.
The welcome address was presented by Prof. Ritika(HOD Political Science) and vote of thanks by Prof. Kiran Thappa. Over 100 students virtually attended the webinar.
