Udhampur : Deputy Chief Education Officer Udhampur, Ram Kumar Gupta along with a team of office staff Friday inspected City Government High School Udhampur, GHS Rown, GHS Malhar, GHS Darsoo, HS Thalora and GHSS Majalta to check the roll and functioning after resumption of physical classes.
The staff members of the schools were present and busy in their work. Morning assembly and class work of students was going on properly amid adherence to COVID appropriate behavior.
Instructions were issued to the staff to convene a meeting with the VEC for encouraging parents/students to attend the school on a regular basis and make special efforts to increase enrollment in the school.
The visiting team found that all classrooms, office and washrooms were sanitized properly. Thermal Screening was also being done at the entry gate of school. Sanitizers and masks were made available in the school premises as well.
