Covid-19 In JK: No death reported on 3rd straight day , toll stays at 4745

Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Thursday said that 232 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 162 from Jammu division and 70 from Kashmir division, have been reported Thursday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 451792, stating therein further that no fresh covid death was reported on third straight day and resultantly the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4745.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that moreover, 937 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 324 from Jammu Division and613 from Kashmir Division, stating therein furthermore that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Thursday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 35,990doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,12,70,918.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 451792 positive cases, 2978are Active Positive (1459in Jammu Division and 1519 in Kashmir Division), 444069 have recovered and 4745 have died; 2323 in Jammu division and 2422in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22614135 test results available, 451792 samples have tested positive and 22162343 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 67,872 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6016234 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 31601persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2978 in isolation and 444112 in home surveillance. Besides, 5532798 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 40 cases, Baramulla reported 08cases, Budgam reported 05 cases, Pulwama reported no cases, Kupwara reported 05 cases, Anantnag reported 03 cases, Bandipora reported 04cases, Ganderbal reported 01 case, Kulgam reported 04 cases while as Shopian reported no fresh cases for Thursday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 85 cases, Reasi reported no case for Thursday, Udhampur reported 01case, Rajouri reported 05 cases, Doda reported 29 cases, Kathua reported 03 cases, Samba reported 03 cases, Poonch reported 01case, Kishtwar reported 04 cases while as Ramban reported 31 fresh cases for Thursday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 91(1.8%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
