Kishtwar : A group of girl students was Wednesday flagged off to Gulmarg Kashmir for attending snow Skiing training Camp.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kharati Lal Sharma flagged off the group along with the guide Salam Bhut (REK).
Sharma advised the students to enjoy the tour, follow covid19 safety protocols and learn the skiing skills with full dedication and encourage others to be the part of sports & games. He hailed the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports for organizing different sports activities throughout the year including the refresher course held recently for sports teachers of J&K in the disciplines of Sqay, Soft Tennis, Fencing, Teakwondo, Archery and Hockey.
He informed the girl students that the department has made adequate arrangements for their boarding and lodging. He directed the guide to maintain close liaison with the students as well as the organizers.
Others present were Javed Iqbal Sheikh I/c activity, Ayaiz Ahmed, Kewal Krishan.
