DE&CC Kulgam organises Awareness progs on ‘Youth Engagement and Outreach Initiatives’

Kulgam : Under Government’s special initiative for effective ‘Youth Engagement and Outreach Initiative’ under the aegis of Youth Volunteer programme in Kulgam, an Awareness/ Career Counselling programme was Monday held at Townhall, here.
Youth Clubs, PRIs and persons with success stories in different self employment schemes of Block Kulgam participated in the programme.
This awareness programme was organized by District Administration Kulgam in collaboration with all line departments.
The programme was attended by Assistant Director Employment Kulgam, Dr. Adnan Tariq; Lead District Manager, Arshad Qadri; Block Development Officer Kulgam and resource person from DE&CC Kulgam Peerzada Aijaz , WDC Mushtaq Ahmed and officers and officials from other line departments.
At the outset of the programme, the resource person from the Employment department provided detailed information to the participants, besides the success stories from Mission Youth J&K’s Mumkin Scheme were also presented and explained by availing the benefits under the said scheme.
Registration counters were established by all line departments and the participants registered themselves for availing benefits under different self employment schemes.
