Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Monday said that 245 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 160 from Jammu division and 85 from Kashmir division, have been reported Monday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 451016, stating therein further that J&K’s overall covid death toll has reached 4745.
The Government in it’s bulletin also said that moreover, 808 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 339from Jammu Division and469 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Monday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 43,769doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,11,51,748.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 451016 positive cases, 4903are Active Positive (2108in Jammu Division and 2795in Kashmir Division), 441368 have recovered and 4745 have died; 2323 in Jammu division and 2422in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22410853 test results available, 451016 samples have tested positive and 21959837 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 58,847 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5978842 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 31499persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4903 in isolation and 441363 in home surveillance. Besides, 5496332 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Monday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 32 cases, Baramulla reported 10cases, Budgam reported 12 cases, Pulwama reported 02 cases, Kupwara reported 16cases, Anantnag reported 02cases, Bandipora reported 04 cases, Ganderbal reported no cases, Kulgam reported 05cases while as Shopian reported 03 fresh cases for Monday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 38cases, Reasi reported 14 cases for Monday, Udhampur reported 04cases, Rajouri reported 08cases, Doda reported 65cases, Kathua reported 02 cases, Samba reported no cases, Poonch reported 01 case, Kishtwar reported 01 case while as Ramban reported 27 fresh cases for Monday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 157(3.11%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
