Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Saturday said that 458 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 252 from Jammu division and 206 from Kashmir division, have been reported Saturday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 450331, stating therein further that three Covid deaths including 2 from Jammu division and 1from Kashmir division till Saturday evening mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4744.
Government in it’s covid bulletin furthermore said that 1624 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 574from Jammu Division and1050 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 39,196doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,10,82,425.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 450331 positive cases, 6255are Active Positive (2594in Jammu Division and 3661in Kashmir Division), 439332 have recovered and 4744 have died; 2322 in Jammu division and 2422in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22282835 test results available, 450331 samples have tested positive and 21832504 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 71,789 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5953659 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29839persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 6255 in isolation and 441312 in home surveillance. Besides, 5471509 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Saturday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 80 cases, Baramulla reported 13 cases, Budgam reported 20 cases, Pulwama reported 09 cases, Kupwara reported 45cases, Anantnag reported 09cases, Bandipora reported 05cases, Ganderbal reported 08 cases, Kulgam reported 13 cases while as Shopian reported 04 fresh cases for Saturday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 88cases, Reasi reported 14 cases for Saturday, Udhampur reported 26 cases, Rajouri reported 05cases, Doda reported 65 cases, Kathua reported 07 cases, Samba reported 03 cases, Poonch reported 06 cases, Kishtwar reported 17 cases while as Ramban reported 21 fresh cases for Saturday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 182 (3.61%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
