Sopore : As a part of Public outreach programme, a Police community partnership group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated at Community Hall Dangiwacha Rafiabad.
According to a police statement issued on Friday said that the meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols. The meeting was chaired by SP Sopore Sudhanshu Verma, besides SDPO Rafiabad and other officers were also present. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens, DDC members, BDCs, ward members of municipal committee Watergam, Auqaf committees, chowkidars, traders’ federations and various market associations of the area.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and issues will be taken up with concerned departments for their early redressal.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Sopore laid focus on Community Policing and assured the people of the area that massive sports activities will be organized in future to indulge youth to hone their skills. The participants were requested to cooperate with Police and administration in maintaining law and order.
