DC Kupwara inspects newly commissioned RS Hyhama

Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Friday visited Hyhama area of Kupwara tehsil and inspected the newly commissioned 10MVA Receiving Station at Halmatpora.
DDC member Hyhama, Haji Sona-ullah Khan; Executive Engineer PDD Kupwara, concerned officers and PRIs were present at the occasion.
Addressing the people, the DC congratulated the locals on getting the Receiving Station and added that the long pending demand of the local people has been fulfilled.
Meanwhile, the PRIs put forth a demand for augmentation of conductor and pole network wherever required in the area.
The DC assured them of resolving their genuine issues and assured of better power supply in the coming days.
DDC Member, PRIs and the general public expressed their gratitude towards the district administration and power department and said that the Receiving Station will provide a major relief to the people of Hyhama block in getting better power supply.
