Srinagar : Directs to ensure continous water supply, electricity,sanitation and other neccesary amenities on upcoming URS of Syed Muhammad Jaffar Kubravi( R.A) Astanpora Rawalpora.
Mayor Srinagar Mr Junaid Azim Mattu Thursday visited Astanpora shrine at Rawalpora to take stock of various basic facilities including sanitation, water supply electricity and other basic amenities for upcoming URS.
He was accompanied by Executive Engineer Left River Works, Executive
Engineer Jal Shakti, Executive Engineer R& B City Roads,Executive Engineer Drainage Executive Engineer I&FC and Executive Engineer PDD.
While taking review of various functioning it was noticed that a canal at site was not in better condition and required immediate cleaning.
Mr Mattu passed on directions to Executive Engineer I&FC to go for proper cleaning and Sanitization of Canal at site.
Mr Mattu also passed on directions to PDD for replacement of damaged electrical poles with the new ones.
Mayor on the occassion directed the concerned to provide regular water supply and extensive sanitation services during the URS days.
On his visit to several other adjoining areas of Rawalpora and its Drainage system, Mr Mattu has asked the concerned to prepare DPR for Drainage Network of the said area.
