- No new mucormycosis case reported in last 24 hours, tally stays at 51
- 4.76 % bed occupancy across JK
Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government on Thursday said that 547 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 307 from Jammu division and 240 from Kashmir division, have been reported in last 24 hours, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 449333, stating therein further that seven fresh Covid deaths including 4 from Jammu division and 3 from Kashmir division reported till Thursday evening mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4739.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin further said that moreover, 2258 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 662from Jammu Division and1596 from Kashmir Division, stating therein also that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Thursday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 52,941 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,09,83,824.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 449333 positive cases, 8512are Active Positive (3288in Jammu Division and 5224in Kashmir Division), 436082 have recovered and 4739 have died; 2320 in Jammu division and 2419in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22135755 test results available, 449333 samples have tested positive and 21686422 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 74,969 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5922581 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29962persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 8512 in isolation and 438227 in home surveillance. Besides, 5441141 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 103 cases, Baramulla reported 16 cases, Budgam reported 22 cases, Pulwama reported 17 cases, Kupwara reported 28cases, Anantnag reported 11 cases, Bandipora reported 15cases, Ganderbal reported 19 cases, Kulgam reported 08 cases while as Shopian reported 01 fresh case for Thursday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 176cases, Reasi reported 03 cases for Thursday, Udhampur reported 13 cases, Rajouri reported 09 cases, Doda reported 22 cases, Kathua reported 17 cases, Samba reported 12 cases, Poonch reported 0 4 cases, Kishtwar reported 12 cases while as Ramban reported 39 fresh cases for Thursday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 240(4.76%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
