Police facilitates PCPG meeting in Sopore

Sopore : Police in Sopore facilitated a PCPG meeting at Police Post Fruit Mandi. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
According to a police statement issued on Wednesday the meeting was chaired by SDPO Sopore Furqan Qadir along with Incharge Police Post Fruit Mandi PSI Irfan Nazir, besides other police officers were also present. The meeting was attended by Fruit Mandi Association Sopore,Sarpanchs, Panchs of the area.
During these meeting, the participants raised various issues pertaining to Police and civil authorities. The chairing officers assured them that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority while as the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The chairing officer also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area. The participants were also requested to co-operate with Police and administration in maintaining law & order in the area and in identifying anti-national & anti-social elements.
The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
