DC Udhampur presides over weekly Block Diwas at GHS Sunari

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Indu Kanwal Chib Wednesday visited Block Udhampur and listened to public issues at the weekly Block Diwas programme held at Government High School Sunari.
DDC Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand, Assistant Commissioner Development, Mushtaq Chowdhary, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Ranjit Singh Kotwal and other District officers besides PRIs and general public of adjoining panchayats participated in the public outreach programme.
The locals and PRIs projected several demands and problems being faced by them and demanded Construction of Playfields at Panchayat level, adequate drinking water supply, Construction of Panchayat Ghar and Establishment of Health Centre at Sui Sambal, Implementation of JJM, Providing electric poles, payment of Pending liabilities under MGNREGA, Completion of CSCs buildings, Construction of culvert, establishment of Veterinary Centre, Black topping of various link roads, Construction of additional class rooms facility in GHSS Salmeri, Widening of Sui Sambal road, Construction of health Sub centre Buildings, Electrification of un-electrified area, Requirement of New Ambulance facility etc.
During the programme, many grievances were redressed on the spot by the intervention of officers of concerned departments. The rest of demands would be followed for redressal on priority by mobilization of budgetary provision to the best public interest, the people were assured by the DDC.
The DDC Chairperson and Deputy Commissioner also appreciated the work done by RDD, Health and other departments for an effective public delivery system in the district Udhampur.
