- No new mucormycosis case reported in last 24 hours, tally stays at 51
- 5.36 % bed occupancy across JK
Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday said that 681 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 359 from Jammu division and 322 from Kashmir division, have been reported Wednesday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 448786, stating therein further that 4Covid deaths reported in last 24 hours from Kashmir Division mounted J&K’s overall covid death toll to 4732.
Government in it’s bulletin also said that moreover, 2805 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 786 from Jammu Division and2019 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 47,705doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,09,23,625.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 448786 positive cases, 10230are Active Positive (3647in Jammu Division and 6583in Kashmir Division), 433824 have recovered and 4732 have died; 2316 in Jammu division and 2416in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22060786 test results available, 448786 samples have tested positive and 21612000 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 74,878 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5911186 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29361persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 10230 in isolation and 437138 in home surveillance. Besides, 5429725 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 139 cases, Baramulla reported 39 cases, Budgam reported 39 cases, Pulwama reported 10 cases, Kupwara reported 30cases, Anantnag reported 16cases, Bandipora reported 10 cases, Ganderbal reported 20 cases, Kulgam reported 11 cases while as Shopian reported 08 fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 184cases, Reasi reported 01 case for Wednesday, Udhampur reported 15 cases, Rajouri reported 12 cases, Doda reported 80 cases, Kathua reported 36 cases, Samba reported 08 cases, Poonch reported 09 cases, Kishtwar reported 05 cases while as Ramban reported 09 fresh cases for Wednesday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 270 (5.36%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
