DDC Ramban reviews progress on dev works under ADF Plan, other sectors

Ramban  : To review the physical and financial status of the works taken up under District Capex Plan, 2021-22, and other schemes, District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam, chaired a meeting of all Sectoral/District Officers in his office chamber, here Saturday.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma; CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal; ACD, Zameer Rishu; ACP, Swran Singh; CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers, BDOs and officers of REW attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the DDC took a comprehensive review of the progress on various developmental projects sanctioned under Area Development Fund in all 11 blocks of the district.
The DDC directed BDOs to ensure completion of all works sanctioned under DDC, BDC and Panchayat Area Development Fund within set deadlines. He stressed on maintaining close coordination with Engineers and field staff of REW for achieving the targets.
The DDC directed the ACD to set the targets for each and every Block for the current month for the completion of works of public interest. The DDC asked the BDOs and Engineers and field staff of REW to guide the newly registered contractors in the execution of the allotted works besides taking part in the tendering process.
The DDC also reviewed progress on projects sanctioned under different schemes under RDD, Power, Health, ICDS, Education, Jal Shakti, PWD, Youth Services and Sports sectors.
