Srinagar :Editor-in-Chief of Daily ‘Srinagar News’ passed away at a Srinagar hospital this afternoon.
Mehraj Ud Din Wani had been admitted at CD Hospital Srinagar after developing some complications. Family sources said that he breathed his last in the hospital. Wani- a resident of Rainawari Srinagar was the owner and publisher of the bi-lingual Newspaper ‘Srinagar News’. He was known for his humor and heart-warming personality among his friends and foollowers. The journalist fraternity has expressed grief over the demise of Mehraj Ud Din Wani.
Meanwhile Jammu Kashmir Press Association while condoling the demise of Mehrajuddin Wani said that the deceased possessed all the qualities of head and heart. As per a statement, the Executive Members of Jammu Kashmir Press Association (JKPA) held an emergency meeting to express grief and shock over his demise and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant an exalted place to him in Paradise and expressed complete solidarity with all members of the bereaved family.
