COVID Care: Testing intensified across Rajouri district

Rajouri : Stepping up COVID mitigation and containment measures, the District Administration Rajouri has intensified the testing across the district.
The drive is being carried out on the directions of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal.
District Administration Rajouri is taking effective measures to control the spread of the virus including aggressive testing to identify, isolate and treat the COVID19 positive patients to break the chain of transmission.
The Health teams on Monday laid special checkpoints in markets and visited house to house to screen the people for COVID19. The teams also educated people about the importance of following COVID Appropriate behaviour and implications of its violation. The people were also motivated to take the test the moment they observe any symptom of COVID19.
The teams collected 5403 samples during the day-long testing drive across the district.
Meanwhile, the entry points to the district have been plugged and all the National and International travellers are tested for COVID19 before they enter the district. Special Joint COVID Control teams have been constituted to strictly implement the COVID protocols to minimise the spread of infection.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal has also appealed to the general public to supplement the efforts of the district administration by following SOPs.
