Covid-19 In JK: 5 new deaths reported, toll rises to 4652

Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 4175 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 1363 from Jammu division and 2812 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 428260, said J&K Government on Saturday in it’s daily covid bulletin, stating therein that five covid deaths including 3from Jammu Division and 2 from Kashmir Division mounted J&K’s Covid death toll to 4752.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover, 7107 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1814from Jammu Division and5293 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 31,038doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,04,08,158.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 428260 positive cases, 42219are Active Positive (10656in Jammu Division and 31563in Kashmir Division), 381389 have recovered and 4652 have died; 2271 in Jammu division and 2381in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 21270106 test results available, 428260 samples have tested positive and 20841846 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 76,507 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5716379 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 18543 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 42219 in isolation and 424162 in home surveillance. Besides, 5226803 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Saturday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 892 cases, Baramulla reported 475 cases, Budgam reported 127 cases, Pulwama reported 153 cases, Kupwara reported 436 cases, Anantnag reported 234 cases, Bandipora reported 131 cases, Ganderbal reported 44 cases, Kulgam reported 292cases while as Shopian reported 28 fresh cases for Saturday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 653 cases, Reasi reported 25 cases for Saturday, Udhampur reported 104 cases, Rajouri reported 34cases, Doda reported 186 cases, Kathua reported 99 cases, Samba reported 55 cases, Poonch reported 49 cases, Kishtwar reported 13 cases while as Ramban reported 145 fresh cases for Saturday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 544 ( 10.79%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
