Kishtwar: Absentee employees issued Show-Cause Notice

Kishtwar : Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal today conducted surprise inspections to check attendance in the government offices.
He was accompanied by District Panchayat Officer Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal besides other officials.
During the inspection at offices of ACD Kishtwar, DPO Kishtwar, XEn REW, CMO Kishtwar, CHO Kishtwar, BDO Kishtwar, XEn PWD Kishtwar, XEn PHE Kishtwar, AEE Sub Division PHE Kishtwar, CEO Kishtwar, ZEO Kishtwar and Deputy Registrar Cooperative Kishtwar, a total 21 employees were found absent without leave, while District Drug Control office was found locked.
Acting tough against the absentees, the ADDC served show-cause notice to 21 employees and ordered withholding of their salaries.
He ordered the concerned controlling officers to seek explanation from the absentee employees within three days and initiate future action against them.
He said that the district administration shall take tough action against absenteeism to ensure smooth functioning of government departments and prompt deliverance of services to the people.
