DDC Rajouri reviews action plan under SCA to SC

Rajouri  : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal today chaired a meeting to review the action plan under the Special Central Assistance (SCA) scheme to Scheduled Castes in the district.
Officers present in the meeting included ACD, SushilKhajuria; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; Principal ITI, Abdul Rashid; CAHO, DrFazalHussain; DSHO, DrSarfrazNaseemChowdhury; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt and other concerned officers.
The DSWO informed that the scheme launched in 1980 aims at the development of Scheduled Castes who form the major chunk of the country’s poverty line population.
He also informed that the main aim of the scheme is to provide employment opportunities to the SC youths. He further apprised that the plan in this regard stands submitted to the concerned authorities.
The DDC also held thorough deliberations on the already submitted plan.
Stressing upon the close coordination of the different departments for the successful implementation of the SCA scheme in the district, the DDC asked them to put in dedicated efforts and work in tandem for the socio-economic uplift of SC youths.
